IMMIGRATION PROCEDURE

The relevant Hungarian legislation guarantees a simple 2-step immigration procedure for all Investor applicants: first applying for Guest Investor Visa, then submitting Guest Investor RP application (GI Visa and GI RP).

1st Step - Guest Investor Visa

The Investor shall submit his/her Visa application at one of the Hungarian Consulate in their country of citizenship or habitual residence.

There is no need to complete the investment of EUR 250,000 in whole or in part, a simple commitment from the Investor's side (and the proof of his/her financial background) can be accepted to start the procedure.

In case of positive decision of GI Visa application, the Consulate will paste the printed GI Visa sticker into the Investor's passport. 

2nd Step - Guest Investor Residence Permit

After the successful grant of GI Visa, our – Chinese and/or English-speaking – colleagues in Shenzhen and/or Budapest will contact the Investor and help to arrange his/her visit to Hungary.

The first entry day to the country – on the one hand – shall fall within the GI Visa validity period (6 months) and – on the other hand – also means the starting day for the implementation of the whole investment (3 months).

Once the Investor land on Hungary, we will assist he/she to complete the investment procedure, including securities account opening, KYC and AML necessary procedures in order to subscribe the Government approved investment fund. And also arrange to submit the GI RP application in person at the Immigration Office in Hungary.
